What is the QTL™ Model? The QTL™ Model is a seven-day professional development experience that puts educators into a model classroom environment, and brings educational theories to life through the use of practical activities that connect their instructional practices, curriculum and technology tools. The first five days of a QTL™ Cycle are conducted in a Center for Quality Teaching & Learning™. Participants attend in teams, each made up of 4-6 teachers and administrators from the same school. Each Cycle may include 3-4 teams from different schools. Day 6 of QTL™ is spent planning a collaborative project tied to participants' own School Improvement Plan. Day 7 is an on-site assessment of the project and planning session for carrying the work forward.
