Linda Mackey lives in Asheville, NC.  She is a retired teacher with 32 years experience as an elementary teacher, working mainly with fifth graders.  She has earned two Master’s degrees — one in Public School Reading-K-12, and one in Secondary Mathematics-7-12 — from Western Carolina University. 

Linda is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Middle Childhood Generalist.  She is a QTL instructor, and also leads ExplorNet CareerTech workshops in Multimedia and Web Design. She is also responsible for registration, program support and development, and teacher education that focuses on helping educators enhance their teaching skills.
