Rich Parenti has an interesting and diverse background. He is parlaying years of healthcare experience into a career teaching teachers strategies for connecting with their students.

Dr. Parenti has left active practice, but maintains his chiropractic license in New York where he frequently visits. He is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and certified by The American Academy of Hospital Chiropractors. In 1994 he published a map of the major biochemical pathways in the human body which was used as a teaching instrument at New York Chiropractic College and sold in the college bookstore. His background also includes being an adjunct instructor of Anatomy, Integrative Physiology, and Introductory Biochemistry for Healthcare professionals. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force and earned a meritorious service award while serving overseas in Central America. Rich earned his undergraduate degree is from the Unverisity of South Florida, at Tampa. He has a two year post-baccalaureate certificate in education and has taught high school Biology, Anatomy, Physical Sciene, and Earth Science in Harnett County, North Carolina. He is currently enrolled in an online Master's degree program at Western Governors University..
