Teacher focused PROGRAMS include:
New and Emerging Teacher Institute (NETI)
NETI is a 40 hour (typically 3 full days prior to the start of the school-year, online engagement and 3 additional full days scheduled within the first semester) program designed for teachers in their first three years in the classroom. NETI provides a critical fundamental experience that instructs, guides, and supports beginning teachers to acquire effective teaching techniques and to remain open and optimistic toward their teaching careers. A blended learning environment helps create an additional system for 24/7 support during the first critical years in the classroom.
Foundations in Quality Teaching & Learning
QTL Foundations is 30 hours (typically 5 full days that can be scheduled flexibly in the summer or during the school-year) of intensive, professional development that builds skills in understanding research-proven teaching and learning strategies. Modeled instruction is tied to practical application, helping participants utilize new strategies through familiar content and settings. QTL/ExplorNet models the appropriate use of technologies as tools for teaching and learning to further enhance teacher and student engagement in best practices. Each of the five days in QTL Foundations models a student-centered approach that blends the latest technologies with high-yield instructional practices.
QTL Elements of Engagement
This 30 hour (3 full days, 2 half days, online engagement and classroom implementation) program aligns QTL instructional strategies with proven results to help educators engage students at higher levels.
