New CTE Teachers

Help for Emerging Teachers

The Centers for Quality Teaching and Learning offers programs for new CTE teachers that vary by state and are currently active only in Arkansas and North Carolina. for information on providing this opportunity in other states.

In Arkansas, the Department of Workforce Education partners with QTL to offer the Technical and Professional Teacher Training Program (TPTTP), which can also help teachers meet certification requirements.

North Carolina, CTE teachers are invited to enroll in sessions of the New and Emerging Teacher Institute, an effort partially funded by the North Carolina General Assembly. Click here to find any upcoming opportunities.
