Seven Days of QTL™

Days 1-5 of QTL™ are conducted in a model classroom environment in a Center for Quality Teaching & Learning™.

  • DAY ONE
    o Theme: Making Connections to Ourselves
    o Focus: Brain-based Learning, Learning Styles, Cooperative Grouping
  • DAY TWO
    o Theme: Making Connections to Others
    o Focus: Differentiation & Diversity
  • DAY THREE
    o Theme: Making Connections to the Environment
    o Focus: Multiple Intelligences & Inquiry-based Learning
  • DAY FOUR
    o Theme: Making Connections to Our Community
    o Focus: Exploratory Learning & Constructivism
  • DAY FIVE
    o Theme: Making Connections to the World
    o Focus: Project-based Learning & Constructivism

Days 6 and 7 provide teachers with the opportunity to connect their learning to student learning by designing and implementing a collaborative project that incorporates the instructional theories, practices, and use of technology.
