Quality Teaching in the Learning Centered School
Quality Teaching in the Learning Centered School or QTLCS is a 30-hour professional development delivered over several sessions. It focuses on how students learn, and how consciously competent instructional design can increase student achievement. After QTLCS, participants will:- Choose a level of Revised Bloom's Taxonomy and create a clear learning goal with congruent activities.
- Learn five steps to higher student engagement.
- Learn to give performance feedback that is specific, abundant and timely.
- Collaborate to design effective and engaging lessons.
QTLCS can be implemented as a follow-up to Foundations in QTL or as a stand-alone opportunity for teachers.
