The QTL Practicum
The QTL Practicum begins with what teachers have already learned during Foundations in QTL or QTLCS and takes it to a higher level. This program begins with three days of intensive professional development, followed by implementation of concepts learned. Learning teams delve deeper into collaborative planning and the use of effective instructional strategies in order to:- Connect essential skills across the curriculum to identify interdisciplinary content.
- Apply concepts of constructivism, inquiry and curriculum integration to collaboratively plan instruction.
- Create authentic assessments that measure essenstial skills across disciplines.
The QTL Practicum is and advanced offering and should be implemented with teachers who have been through QTL programs previously.
