New Teacher Training
Initial training for ExplorNet's Computer Engineering is a comprehensive multi-day session that prepares teachers to teach both levels of the A+-based curriculum. It is required for teachers entering the program.
The professional development is led by an experienced classroom teacher, and the focus is on classroom management and practical application as well as technical content. During a full Computer Engineering training event, participants build their own computer from a kit and take it back to school with them.
Trainings are scheduled in North Carolina and Arkansas. Teachers from other states are welcome to register for the following:
